Doesn't Get Any Easier

Every year Intuit adds to the capabilities and offerings with their Turbo Tax software. Love their new offerings!
What's great about it: As long as you have your records you don't even have to think...just answer questions and input data

I AM NEWLY MARRIED AS OF 2013. I HAVE BEEN DOING MY NEW HUSBANDS AND MY TAX RETURNS FOR YEARS USING TURBO TAX. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO IMPORT HIS PREVIOUS TAX INFO JUST AS I IMPORTED MY OWN. NO OPTION FOR THAT THAT I SAW ANYWHERE.

Whew!

Stepping through all the deductions that I didn't know were deductions was so helpful--and useful! I owed so much less than I was afraid I would because of charitable deductions I didn't realize were so valuable tax-wise. And I almost didn't bother! Whew! And my state refund was 75% more with those and health-care deductions. This is the 7th year I've used TurboTax for my taxes. Thank you, TurboTax!

The BEST way

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. A few years ago when I had a major change of life status (got married) I decided to try a professional tax accountant as a "double check". After a few hundred dollars I found no difference between the findings of the professional accounting firm and Turbo Tax Deluxe.
What's great about it: It works like a charm and walks you through everything
What's not so great: Can't think of any
