Things went smoothly until the last item.

Last item for eFile refused to cooperate. Finally had to resort to postal send-off. I was unable to discover what was needed. What started out to be a nicely helpful tax with Turbo Tax help became unreal. It seems that TurboTax might have had a better handle for anticipating problems and their incorporation before the last moment disappointment at the final moment.

What's great about it: step by step tax prep!
What's not so great: more info on short sale and debt forgivness

Very difficult when multiple states

I had a small amount of income in a second state that required a mail in return. I filed electronically with fhe fed and state 1, but trying to print the second state's documents was very difficult to do. instructions not at all clear. i just HOPE i did it correctly.
What's great about it: single state with fed is easy
What's not so great: multiple states very confusing

Having used Turbotax for the past several years, carrying over previous years return and going through anything that may have changed was a breeze... so glad for this feature... Then just a few minutes to enter info from this years forms, and Presto... I'm done in less than an hour-total. having the state and federal amounts updated on-the-fly is also a nice feature.
The only "problem" was upon e-filing, Turbotax could not "validate" because "there are updates available". after re-updating the updates, I merely had to quit Turbotax and restart, at which point it picked up where we had left off and transmission went through.

What's great about it: Quick, simple , thorough

Dissapointed

I was disappointed that the option to mail the state return is either no longer available or hidden. The only method to file that I could find was to pay an additional $24.99 after paying the additional price for the software which included the state return. I did not appreciate the surprise at the end.
After 10 years of using Turbo Tax, I will not be buying it in 2014.

Excellent software product that has been 'tweaked' over the years....Now my daughter can even do her own....
What's great about it: Think this is my 26th year & for many years did a Business too always without any issue

Can't finish this tax filing and running out of ti

Although the run thru turbo tax was easy and efficient. I have used Turbo tax for several years now and this is the first time the inability to print has arisen. Makes it hard to keep a copy or file by mail you guys!!
What's great about it: got thru Turbo tax just fine
What's not so great: Printing was unavailable. what's the problem?
