Not for the Visually Impaired

I am visually impaired and use ZoomText (the most popular screen reader for PCs) and the way you write your screens (i.e. not using the standard Windows forms visual elements) prohibits ZoomText from reading the screens. Further, the "buttons" (white on pale blue) are virtually unreadable.
Your treatment of form 1116 is all but totally incomprehensible.
Were it not for the importation of data from the prior year return I would absolutely not use TurboTax.

What's not so great: Does not use Windows standard API for screen display

Friendly, but awkward

Like that the marketing pitches were reduced, as were the requests for addresses for every charitable donation. Would be great to be able to update a year's donations to past recipients just by entering a donation value.
Would also appreciate being able to do everything offline...and being asked before the program attempted online info gathering or transmit.
But, I think 2013 was an improvement over 2012...so thanks!
What's great about it: ease of use and navigation
What's not so great: entering multiple charitable donations remains a bit awkward

Easy to use and nicely intuitive.

Overall fairly quick and easy. Intuitive "wizard" format with lots of nice help hyperlinks to explain what the fields meant.
Used to file my taxes on my own, then went to paid preparer's and didn't see the added value of them. This product made it relatively painless and I have high confidence in it's accuracy.
What's great about it: Walked through the entire process but allowed you to skip and move on to other areas quickly.
What's not so great: Additional charge at the end to file state when I thought it was part of the initial software purchase
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Plusses and Refinements

It's cumbersome to redo a form, just a small part of it, when you have to go through the entire series of questions to get to the specific place you want. This is fine for the first time, but can be refined for those who are more familiar with the process.
Sometimes I wasn't sure where to file an expense. Professional expense or home office.
What's great about it: Simple, and straightforward. Complete. Asks questions that are helpful
What's not so great: Revising forms

I work as a contractor and get 1099 MISC income. This is not a complicated business. I want the standard Turbo Tax version to handle that - and not require an upgrade.
With one person cleaning the house, I need to file a W-2. This is not so unusual and should also be in the standard version.
What's great about it: Largely a very good product with two areas for improvement listed below.
What's not so great: Need the ability to print one simple W-2.

Easiest and Quickest Way to File

Makes the process easy to follow. Year-over-year use provides ability to rollover relevant information without reentering. Also reminds you of what was applicable last year so you don't forget to include again - income or deductions.
What's great about it: Convenient and Not Complicated
