I have been using turbo tax for the past 12 years with no problems. However, for my 2011 returns I choose to go to an accountant because I didn't[ trust myself to prepare them myself due to the chemotherapy that I was undergoing. I was charged 4 times the cost of Turbo tax. They even reviewed my prior two years returns prepared with TurboTax for any errors and/or additional refunds I may have over looked, but they found none. I will NEVER use another form of tax preparation again!

Simplified My Life

Great product never had an issue with my federal or state returns. Being an I.T. Administrator I want my life as uncomplicated as possible outside of the office. Turbo Tax fills the bill. Being able to do my taxes at home and when I decide I want to work on them is a huge benefit.

Sales Tax Deduction Update

After initially entering three items under sales tax I found more entries. I attempted (several times) to use the update button next to sales tax on the summary form. This simply got me to a total sales tax entry. Turbo tax would not allow any more line entries for sales tax. I called turbo Tax help center and your representative helped me by suggesting we delete all sales tax and start from the beginning. This worked.
What's not so great: Can not just use Turbo Tax's "Update" button to add to sales tax list.

turbo tox could not find my last year return even though it was on this computer and I could see the pdf. When it found the pdf it said it was corrupt.

Error in NC calculations

On NC calculations where both people are on Social Security, it will not let you receive the $200 for the spouse.

Fast and Easy

Turbo Tax is a great tool. Software performed as intended and informed me an my wife of a few tax deductions that we were not aware of. Thanks for a great product Intuit.

Super terrific filing process AGAIN this year! Every year it gets done in "lickity-split" timing.
So confident that it is correct as well, because the program checks it as I complete each section!
