Taxes With Ease

I love how easy Turbo tax makes it for you, retains the information that you put in last year so it would be hard to miss any of your regular donations, deductions or stock dividends and the fact that I don't have to lug my records to some accountant and if he doesn't have it on a piece a paper he's going to argue with me about my ASCPA deduction that I know comes out monthly. Why do I need to pay him for a simple tax return. And I love that I can sit home in my jammies and have it complete. Wish they could really do something about what I owe. :-)

TurboTax makes it easy

If your papers are in order (and seriously, whose ever are), then the entire walkthrough can be under an hour. It can pull down your payroll and brokerage records automatically, prompts you for every obscure deductible out there, and does it all efficiently and clearly. If your records are a mess, well, its your own darn fault and it will take longer. But don't blame TurboTax.
What's great about it: Walks you like the helpless baby you are through what would otherwise be a multi-day nightmare.
What's not so great: Gets fixated sometimes on problems which aren't really there.

Excellent Tool for Self Filing

I have been using TurboTax for many years (at least 19 years) and I'm always satisfied with the program, the accuracy of my returns and the constant improvements in the program and process. I would not change to another Tax filing software as long as TurboTax is available.
What's great about it: Easy to use and follow, very thorough and saves time year to year
What's not so great: No issues or problems this year.

SO EASY

TurboTax makes it so easy to file. Even with all of the changes our family went through this past year it was still easy to navigate and file.
What's great about it: Helps tax novices through the process easily
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

E-FILE ALLOWED USING SAME PIN # MYSELF & WIFE

WHY WOULD TURBO TAX ALLOW ME TO E-FILE USING SAME PIN# FOR MYSELF AND WIFE? I DO NOT RECALL READING ANYTHING ON THE TURBOTAX SCREEN THAT SAID I HAD TO HAVE TWO SEPARATE INDIVIDUAL PIN#?
I HOPE I GOT THIS CORRECTED OK AND I HAVE RETRNASMITTED E-FILE.

2013 taxes

I had trouble printing the forms, and could not figure out how to correctly print them.
What's great about it: overall good
What's not so great: was confusing in some areas

2014 for 2013

Most of this went pretty well. I had my old computer fail and could not pull up old data so I had to enter everything in by hand and this slowed me up. the only problematic part was the extremely annoying insistence I fill out Florida State Income Tax. There is no Florida Individual income Tax and this was a waste of time,
What's great about it: Did an excellent job at reducing grunt work.
What's not so great: Insited I fill out a Florida Income Tax return even though I have no income tax in Florida
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Really have enjoyed using TurboTax over the many years and find it is very easy especially as the years have progressed it has become easier and more direction and thorough explanation of each item.
I feel very confident that my returns are done correctly and look forward to doing Turbo tax in the years ahead.
What's great about it: easy to follow directions
What's not so great: I wait too late to begin Turbotax!!!
