East to use, this is our 7th year using Turbo Tax

Turbo tax is easy software to use, I had used an accountant to file our taxes every year. One year, they raised their fees by 200% and decided to try Turbo Tax. This is our 7th year, and it is so easy to use, we will continue to use it every year.
What's great about it: Don't have to pay an accountant!

Quick and easy to use!

The ability to import my W-2 and info from other financial institutions has speeded up my tax prep time considerably. TurboTax continues to improve and is significantly cheaper than going to a tax professional.
What's great about it: Import Capabilities; Multiple ways to step thru return
What's not so great: Navigating back to some sections requires you to repeat previous steps

Been using TurboTax for at least 12 years and it gets better and easier each year. I've recommended it to family and friends who all now, even the ones who were skeptical at first, use TurboTax religiously! I'll certainly continue to use TurboTax from here on out, and if I could use it in the afterlife to prepare my estate tax return, I certainly would. I'll make it a provision in my will that if the administrator of my estate prepares the estate tax return, he will use TurboTax!
What's great about it: easy to use. Makes tax prep a breeze!
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

ESTIMATED TAX CALCULATIONS

I had trouble locating calculation of New York State Estimated tax payment amounts after making federal change in amount expected earnings 2014.
Switching between step & form is excellent.
What's great about it: Adjustment of Federal estimated tax calculation is easy. Back button excellent.
What's not so great: Unclear that adjustment to New York State estimated tax calculation has been made & no way to review.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent program, adapable on the fly

We had to change out our computer during the time we were filling out our taxes. We change from a PC to a MAC the TURBO TAX program didn't even hick-up. The system just grabbed our data open the file and put it the new format and we were back in business in a matter of minutes.

I have used TurboTax for about 10 years - never had a problem. Last year we used the free H&R Block check and they found we didn't deduct investment advisory fees - really increased our deduction. We were dismayed that we had to search for this deduction
What's great about it: Easy to follow; good flow and asks almost all the right questions
What's not so great: Some deductions (state tax deductions; investment advisory fees) are hidden/difficult to find/not properly explained.
