taxes made easy

I've been using Turbo Tax for years! Turbo Tax is easy to use, accurate, and has lots of information available for any questions.
What's great about it: easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

subtle misses

System could not find my return initially, but when I found it on another drive a day later, old data can't be loaded.
Also, for AMT, why can't you look at last years return and pull needed info, why do I have to go to the forms.
Why when filing do I have to enter my bank info for Fed and State. just copy it.
What's not so great: Does not do a good job of finding are remembering info from last year

Best Tax Tool

I use TurboTax every year because it remembers my information from the previous year and populates that information, such as name address, and social. This helps ease and speed up the process of filing taxes. It checks for every possible deduction to allow the maximum return, and I do not have to leave my home or wait in line at a tax preparer. It is straightforward while asking the same questions that a tax preparer would ask, and it covers every tax scenario based on your needs, from basic filing to business and investments.
What's great about it: Easy to use, fast return filing, detailed explanations, no waiting in line

Easy Peasy

This is the second year I've used Turbo Tax, and I fully intend to use it every year! It's fast & easy. I poured a cup of hot coffee before I started. Now I'm finished and my coffee is still warm - THAT'S how fast :)

easy as pie

With TurboTax that headache of doing taxes is minimized. My dad did and still does do taxes all year long. Always files an extension and then stands alone if any mistakes were done. With TurboTax, I'm essentially done in 2-3 hrs, have legal backing if I should ever need it and have it checked and electronically submitted so my time is free and I can do what I want. It's the only way to do taxes if you ask me, 10 years and counting.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and simple
What's not so great: Taxes have to be done

Hang ups

After getting to the point of entering my last income statement the program locked up. It ran for 28 min. stating it was connecting when i finally had to restart. Thankfully it didn't lose the information I had already entered.
