Nervous but found it easy

I found myself nervous and I hope I did it right. They asked more questions than when I had a tax person do my taxes.
What's great about it: walks you through step by step
What's not so great: when it says it will go back to it not sure when
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I really like the ease of use of this software. I have been using it for years and am very happy with how much less work I have to do because the information is carried over from year to year. I used to use the small business one in previous years and that was awesome also. I did not use it this year as I got rid of my business last year.
What's great about it: Ease of use!!
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Easy to file; Turbo Tax explains everything and walks me through it all. The comparison to last year's return allows me to see how my finances and return have changed over the last year.

I was extremely nervous when I used the program. They walk you through it, ask questions that I have never been asked for from the person that did my taxes before. Try it you will like it.

Even though i could have done my taxes by the old fashioned way with pad and paper and possibly calculator, this is easy.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Counting on the accuracy of INUIT. Why bother me aout a Florida state income tax when there is none!

Rocked My Refund!!

This years Turbo Tax Program works alot better than last years. This was much more simplified, and the questions asked were more specific so I didn't have to go into the explanation part to understand the question asked. I have been doing my taxes with Turbo Tax for many years now and I have never been disappointed!

Better than last year

Overall, this year's Federal product seems better. I didn't have any trouble installing it like 2012's - first time I had issues on installation - although it was a little slow to get started. Seems to have minimized the questions which is good and they seemed sensible to me. It didn't have any annoying pop-ups and that was good, too. I was able to move right along quickly but confident that I wasn't missing anything and that was great! However, the State product still had a problem - it missed a credit. When the return form was viewed and I right-clicked on the line in question, it told me about the credit and defined its use, but it would not calculate it and give it to me - which it should have done. I went to my Sate's tax website and used it's free software - also free e-file - and the State's - Ohio - software gave me the credit. I went back over Turbo Tax's input 4 times and couldn't find where I answered anything wrong or missed anything and eventually had to use an override to put the credit in. If I messed up, TT has made that credit too difficult to find, and if I didn't, TT has made a mistake on its software - and Ohio's joint filing credit can run up to $650. Kind of demoralizing - what if you didn't know about the credit or didn't realize TT wasn't giving it to you? What if it's missing something more involved that I haven't caught?
What's great about it: Fed is faster & more to the point, easier to backtrack to fix/change things.
What's not so great: State still has problems.
