Got it done

What's great about it: Will not allow an error
What's not so great: Could not resolve one error
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: step by step guidelines - explanations as hyperlinks when needed
What's not so great: Did not include free state e-file

Easy to use.

I've used Turbo Tax for about the past 20 years. I have always liked the way it walks me through all the steps. I haven't been audited either since it finds areas that could trigger an audit and helps me fix them prior to form submission.
What's great about it: Very easy to use through simple questions.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

Worked well for most of my forms

I have been using TurboTax forever. The question and answer session works well for Federal returns. I did have issues with car donations where nothing from the interview transferred to the form that needed to be attached. It was caught in the final review but this shouldn't have happened. It's deductible import worked well though.
One thing that bothers me is that states such as Illinois allows the state tax form to be entered on their web site and e-filed there for free. TurboTax does not state this anywhere in their filing options. Instead they attempt to charge the consumer to have it e-filed.
What's great about it: Was able to complete my returns
What's not so great: Doesn't do well with donations such as Cars
Pros: I bought or sold investments

in all the years i have been using turbo tax to file my claims i never had so much aggravation trying to install due to error codes and the printing driver keep giving me errors
What's great about it: the program itself good
What's not so great: installation and printing of forms disaster

Simplified the Complexity

I have been using TurboTax for the past twenty+ years and have been 100% pleased with the result each and every time.
What's great about it: Simplifies the entry of tax data.
What's not so great: None other than some errors take some time and trial solutions to resolve.
