I've used this program for years and which allows me to save time and work on it as docs come through the mail.
The only downside is that the processing fees are high relative to today's e-fees from paypal or e-trade similar services.

I already pay for the software. I expect that to include the fee.
What's great about it: Simple and inciteful

Hard to find source of error

Fair product. We ended up following inane things, like where did we show farm income? Why did the farm forms need filling out, when we have never been a farm? How do we show installment sale of property sold at a loss? We had a mysterious $866 dollar misc Div entry that we never found the source of (like spent 3 hours looking for this) - finally forced a delete. Etc
What's great about it: Auto form fill
What's not so great: Errors are impossible to trace.

I appreciate the way it walks me through the steps. Turbotax asks all the right questions and downloads both w-2s automatically through ADP which save steps and possible errors.
What's great about it: Very Easy, walks you through the steps
What's not so great: Can't think of anything

Why so many Updates, so late?

Liked the way the program leads you through the process.
Biggest problem was not with the program but getting the paperwork together, already started a file for next year.

After I entered all the data, updated the program and THEN reviewed the return. Printed a copy and two days later started to file. I had to update 3 times to get the filing to go through. I appreciate the updates but 3 updates in 48 hours, 0n April 13th, and program was updated April 10th. Really?
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Had to update 3 times in a row to get return to file.

2013 was a busy year for my dad: he was diagnosed with cancer, retired, divorced, then passed away. With all that to take in, I was petrified with the task of preparing his tax return. A friend suggested TurboTax and I'm so glad! From start to finish, everything was spelled out in easy-to-understand terms to ensure I didn't overlook any of the income and expense issues. THANK YOU, TurboTax, for providing the relief and confidence in preparing my dad's final tax return.
