Rocked my refund

The process was very user friendly. The questions were relevant and the explanations easy to understand. I feel confident that my return is as accurate as possible and I am receiving my full refund.
What's great about it: Through and easy to use.
What's not so great: Questions about 1099 and other forms should be formatted like the actual forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Customer Support

Would be nice if Turbo Tax sold a package that included free Federal and State E-filing along with Audit defense. Kind of silly to have to enter credit card numbers multiple times for each specific product. alternatively, you could offer to do one upgrade with options to select and then charge the credit card once. I had to buy a second state, Audit defense, and two state efiling transmission with 3 separate credit card transactions. There's got to be a better way...
Love Turbo Tax though. Thanks.

Paid for Deluxe and got Standard

Our state sales tax expenses always exceed the standard deduction. Was disappointed that all the receipts I saved with my Neat were unappreciated.

Lost all my data with last minute required update

I have used TurboTax for several years, but this will likely be my last. I had everything entered, but when I tried to file, I got a message of Validation Failed and that I would have to update the software. After updating, all of my numbers in the file were $0 - every single one of them. After all that work, it was all gone.
Ultimately, I went on Help and finally found an entry that helped me through some steps, and I got the data back using an older file.
The result, though, is that I don't trust TurboTax now. What if I was filing on the last evening like I normally do? My colleague used the IRS electronic forms and filing, and she said that it was fast and easy, so although I can't believe that I'm saying this, I think that I'll give the 'ole IRS a try next time before spending money on TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to enter data
What's not so great: Lost all that data with TurboTax software update

Solid Performance, as usual!

I can't recall the number of years I've been using TurboTax but it's been more than 15. Product quality is fantastic! Great results without making the process over burdensome. Unless my tax situation changes materially, whereby it's very complicated, I'll continue to use this product in the future.
What's great about it: Standard quality product and added features
What's not so great: As more people own small business would like the standard product to be more robust

I would prefer to have the older way of starting with income document input and follow the form through the 1040. You used to to that to some degree.
Now, it is really a challenge and timewaster to get thru.
What's great about it: Still accurate
What's not so great: Somewhat cumbersom, reverse Polish logic
Pros: I bought or sold investments
