Great product, since I have bought the product for over 10 years, State filing costs should be lower. Paying for the product and paying for state filing is too much
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: too many add-on for sale, Needs to make good reccomendations on improving tax status
Pros: I bought or sold investments

took me forever to file

This year they have added more requirements which takes more time to fill out everything. Seems more complicated than it was in previous years. Next year I am planning to hire a CPA to do my taxes. After all the expenses I had to pay for the product, there isn't any saving left.
What's great about it: helps saving money on a CPA
What's not so great: time consuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I trust TT. Its Been everything I expected in a tax program since 1998. Every year they bring me peace of mind. I have always been able to solve any issues. I am a TT user for life. Thank you TT team.
What's great about it: simple and easy to do. its like an interview
What's not so great: they seem to cover everything. I had not one problem with any qustions or tax coverage.

Based on information provided, TT determines what forms are needed and what information is needed.
Autocompletion of forms.
Requests information based on previous year's return (such as 1099 info).
Evaluates return on completion looking for errors.

20 Years of TurboTax

It's been 20 years, I think, that I've used TurboTax. They've made the process much simpler than doing it by hand (especially when recalculating due to a change#.
They also do stand by their accuracy promise, which I encountered a few years ago. It was my error, but because of their wording, so they paid the interest and I paid for the error.
I also like that the format hasn't changed for a while. Seemed like every year, the interface was different. Now it's the same year to year, which is a good thing. Please don't feel the need to "improve" something that works fine #i.e. don't be like Microsoft#.
What's great about it: Great for ordinary tax filers
What's not so great: Having to pay to e-file my state

Great program, it gets better every year.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Lots of information at your finger tips.
What's not so great: Charges for fileing.

As a first time user of TurboTax, I was very pleased with the in depth help. The only drawback, was the inability of sending the finish product by e-mail.
What's great about it: The step by step process
What's not so great: Would not accect online delivery

I really enjoyed the SW, Have been using for a number of years and this was a easy to use version.
What's great about it: Love the auto fill and importing of last years Data
What's not so great: mousing across screen to say no and then having to scroll back to continue
