Not paying any taxes

This program was very easy to work through and allowed me to easily enter the date that I had as well as rapidly submitted my information once the form was completed.
What's great about it: Program is detailed and easy to work through
What's not so great: Did not see any during this experience

Encountered some glitches this year

Turbotax didn't compare this return to last year's, like it has in the past. I did the Easy Step instead of just going to forms, because we had a change in status. I was never asked about a SEP contribution. I had to go to the forms to enter it. Seems weird.
I'll bet I went through the screens of "File your Return" six or seven times, instead of the program taking me back to where I left off when I went to Forms, or to check for updates. After updating, I had to turn off the program, and come back to it, in order to file my return.
What's great about it: I love that making a change in an entry changes all the computations.
What's not so great: I didn't like having to start over at the beginning of a section if I went to look at forms, or something.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and enjoy the process greatly. I tell all my friends to use it and I mean it when I say to them that is EASY!
What's great about it: You asked the questions and I only had to answer
What's not so great: I wish the software was less expensive

Overall Good Experience

Overall good experience. Sold a house for the first time and Turbo Tax made it easy. It is a little difficult to navigate backwards to update information.
What's great about it: Easy to use; Bulids upon previous years
What's not so great: Sometimes a little difficult to navigate backwares

Always very helpful

Used TurboTax for years, and generally always been satisfied. It's great for normal, straightforward returns like mine, but you might want to talk to a human being if you have a complicated situation or want to see what you can get away with. There's sometimes a moral / psychological dimension where people have to know their own tolerance for risk, how it will look to the IRS, and the potential consequences of "inexactitude."
What's great about it: Automatic updating and compliance with changes in the law
What's not so great: None

EASY ENOUGH FOR A 66 YR OLD

Been using Turbo Tax for many years now. Can't imagine trying to file without it. Automatic tax law updates make you confident your return is correct. E-filing is sweet.

Easy Breezy

I have been using Turbo Tax ever since they bought Personal Tax Edge. I find it to be much easier arguing with myself over my taxes than another preparer.
What's great about it: Asked the questions in real understandable english
What's not so great: Doesn't have a "probably does not apply to you" feature
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
