Simple and easy to use. I don't like questions that would be difficult to understand or answer.
What's great about it: Straight forward questions make it easy to fill out form.
What's not so great: None.

This is the sixth year I've used TT. There was a non-trivial learning curve, but at this point it's fairly simple to use. I'll use it again.
What's great about it: straightforward
What's not so great: some hard-to-find entry points (like Fed refund vs credit to '14)

Easy to follow

It is very easy to follow and complete the forms. Filing instructions are very clear.
What's great about it: Questions worded so they are easily understood and answered.
What's not so great: Hard to print single forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For the past two years the transition to doing the state taxes has been poor. This year one had to press the edit button. There needs to be a clear statement that says lets start your state tax and an associated button.
What's great about it: easy to use. Transfers data well
What's not so great: Transistion to doing state tax is poor. Need a better interface.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Federal Great, State (MT) Needs Some Refinement

State (MT) has almost no help available when you click on "help.". When you go back to check inputs for accuracy, some screens do not show the second pass through.
What's great about it: Federal really smooth.
What's not so great: State (MT) not so great

bizarre disappearance of tax file

whether it's Win8 or TT this year, I don't know, but my TT install disappreared along with my tax file and I had to reinstall TT and do it all again.
This occurred after taking an update and then doing my state return. Very surprising to find on 4/10 when I was going to file.
What's great about it: the usual step by step questionaire
What's not so great: Had to do it all twice
