A Little Different This Year

We have used this program consistently for many years now and found the formatting of things to be different this year. Plus it missed some of the key questions when guiding us through our personal business that then came up on the error report. We had to purposely seek out the form to fill in all the missing details, i.e. type of business code, EIN number, etc.
However, all-in-all we feel this is still a great program and we will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Love the side-by-side comparison to last year's numbers
What's not so great: Didn't get guided through all the steps
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent!

I have been using TurboTax for over thirteen years. It is an excellent product, and has continued to improve over many years. It uploads all of my personal information from prior years, and I really like the comparison feature to see how a new return compares to the prior year. This has helped me on more than one occasion to identify something I forgot to include. The help screens are very informative and helpful. My tax return this year, including both federal and state, took me less than an hour to complete, even with extensive deductions. Most of what I need is already memorized from prior years, so I don't have to reenter names of charitable organizations, addresses of financial institutions, etc. I can't imagine a better tax assistance software product! Five stars ***** (out of five)
What's great about it: Well organized, automatic upload of prior year information, help
What's not so great: Hard to figure out how to return to the middle of a previous section.

What's great about it: I receieved some new important tax documents this year for the first time. Your product covered them.
What's not so great: None that I could see.

MN form M1W problem

Have had no problems prior to this.. , with info from other users was able to resolve problem, however, it took me over an hour to find the solution
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: glitch re: state withheld tax, would not recognize 0 withheld

Ease of Use!

It seems that every year Turbo Tax gets easier to use. The price is much cheaper than having it done by your local tax office, especially "Long Form". Having said that, it may not be for everyone; if an individual's tax return include business, properties, earning income overseas, etc, it may be a good idea to hire a professional that truly knows the ins-and-outs of our complex tax laws.
Turbo Tax is just right for my needs and will continue to use it in the future!
What's great about it: Program walks through the steps asking question along the tax process
What's not so great: Must pay for state E-file

There is no better tax software .I had tried others and they did not offer the clear support!
