Did Not Print State Return Data
on April 12, 2014

I successfully completed both Federal and Utah State returns. I E-Filed the Federal return, and chose to send a check by mail. The return has been accepted and the check sent.. However, I chose to mail my Utah TC-40 return and the required payment (by check). When the Federal Return had been sent and I had indicated I was not going to E-File my Utah State return and payment, your program indicated it was "done". It was necessary to manually locate and then bring up the Turbotax Instructions and the Utah TC-40 Return pages and payment voucher, and then individually print them. Fortunately I was able to do so!
What's great about it: Easy to follow clear procedures for both Federal and State returns
What's not so great: I had to locate and then manually print the Utah State forms, data and instructions.

Some of your questions could contain a warning that if your expenses don't exceed a certain percentage of your AGI, then you don't qualify for the deductions. That would save on having to do a lot of research and information input only to find out you've just wasted your time, because you don't qualify for the deduction.

Frustrated again

Every year I get the same error! Instead of directing me to the section in Turbo Tax where to fix it, I'm given a form number with no context. Very, very frustrating!
Also, I couldn't find some of the deductions I've taken in years past for educational expenses. However, it did show up on the error check but again didn't direct me to the turbo tax section to fix the problem.
What's great about it: For most items, things were smooth
What's not so great: Error check

What's not so great: Help menu was limited, trouble with pop-ups

Easy to use. Anything I wasn't sure on, it had a "more information" link to tell me what it meant. I wish e-filing was free for both federal and state, rather than having to print and send in to avoid paying for state filing.
What's great about it: Easy walk through, and loaded my info from last year
What's not so great: Paying to E-file state
