This is the first time i have done my own taxes and with turbo tax it was so easy to follow and complete. I will continue to do my own from now on, instead of paying someone else to do them
What's great about it: it was so easy to follow
What's not so great: it did not ask to do software updates until i was in the middle of the return

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years and will continue to use it. It is easy to input the data and you are guided step-by-step. I have never had problems using Turbo Tax

My desktop crashed, I had to start over on my wife's laptop. Load all of my information rather than import it. Took a little time, But I realized why I like TurboTax, very efficient. Thanks for being there in a crunch.LA

Most things went smoothly. Flow was good, although I want to print and review the return before filing electronically.
I get one 1099-R for my company pension, and one 1099-R for my 401K distribution. The software doesn't seem to make a distinction between the two, claiming that I at age 73 should take a minimum distribution from each. There is no such thing as a minimum distribution for a pension after age 70 1/2.
For entering stock sales, you want price per share. What gets reported to me is total amount, which I have to then divide by number sold. For stock from an ESPP, this resulted in my having to do seven divisions. It would be nice if you accepted either price per share or total price, and did the division for me.

What's not so great: Doesn't seem to know the difference between a company pension and a 401K distribution.
