Love the product! How about a list of documents needed for deductions to remind us throughout the year what to save, i.e. copays, tax bills etc.
What's great about it: Walked me through it
What's not so great: I never remember what I need to save, i.e. receipts for copays etc.

Excellent and easy to use

I had multiple, separate entries to make. it would be nice to be able to import the data from an excel spreadsheet. Currently, I couldn't find an easy way to input the data except to type it in. Also, the address and state designation for the one of the locations told me that CA and the zip code was from a foreign country.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Especially liked the transfer of information from previous years records
What's not so great: Tedious entry of multiple forms

All around great product. Needs more help in complicated situations such as 529 plans. More examples of the variety of using them, etc.

loike the software itself doing this review is a little awkward.. poorly laid out, it is touchy in that it moves on too quickly and there is not a lot of easy questioning. when you want more info you are faced with a too small window and very dry explanations that are a little frustrating to work through. I am glad the product works, I appreciate that it makes preparing the return simpler but I do not think it is very user friendly in the way iy lays out questions, in the way the pages appear, the fonts are too small. An example is last years return allowed me to deduct the cost of the software as a tax prep cost, This year it did not and I was not able to get an answer on why not. If it is going to disallow the deduction it should explain why since it allowed it in the prior year. I sort of tried to do that on the charitable deductions. I am not sure I got all the deductions I was entitled to, but since I have used it every year I feel a little locked in to it
What's great about it: loadedawkward to ask questions well. smooth. transfered info well
What's not so great: page layouts poor

I have used TT since 1988 and have never had a problem. I can honestly say I look forward to doing my taxes each year and it is primarily because of Turbo Tax. It's a great program.

It didn't update first thing and I got in middle of the form and couldn't get my local sales tax reduction to work. When I tried it just said I would be emailed when the IRS had the form ready. But really I just needed to run the updates.
Otherwise TurboTax is so easy to do. Fill in the blanks and nice help explanations.
What's great about it: EASY EASY EASY
What's not so great: Didn't update when I first loaded the program
