needs imorovement

Federal 1040 - no need for 1116 for foreign tax credit for small amounts, yet program seems to mandate and then generates numerous error messages (FTC was less than $200 and from a mutual fund that was imported)
Iowa return - ignores Iowa information entered on 1099R and requires override. Schedule B for Div and interest reporting for some reason inserts numerous blank lines?
What's great about it: nice to have on computer
What's not so great: Federal does not handle foreign tax credit wel; Iowa return needs work.

Loved the ease of it and that it allowed for efile for both federal and state. Took some of the fear of filing taxes away.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

loved working turbo tax

This is not my first time so I was familiar with the simple procedures; its a great program and congratulations to all the people that work on it.
What's great about it: last year data available; gets information from providers; step by step approach; comparisson with previous year
What's not so great: forms were not ready and information on availability not accurate; update should have been suggested earlier

I used you for 4-5 years now w/ excellent service and ease in filing. Hard to know of any way to improve it. especially like the foresight of upcoming items such as health care insurance questions.

The Turbo Tax is very easy to work through. There are steps to guide you through sections that you may have problems. I would highly recommend Turbo Tax to everyone.

Somewhat disappointed

I have used turbotax for more years than I can remember. This was my worst experience. While my return was routine compared to previosu years, the minister of religion service was less than helpful. In fact I believe that the return I filed will be sent back with errors, but I couldn't figure out how to fix them. Unfortunately I need to find another service for next year.
What's great about it: Ususally quite thorough
What's not so great: Sequence did not follow well this year

I've used TurboTax since the 2006 tax year. Without question, its the best software product I've ever used (and I've earned my living in the IT field for over 40 years). I'm a TurboTax customer for life!
