Turbo Tax makes Last-minute Lori look good!

Great experience yet again!

Love using Turbo Tax. Each and every year the improvements and ease of use gets better. Love it and am so happy with not just my refund but also the fact that it only took less than 2 hours to get this off my plate and filed.
What's great about it: Ease of use, automated features and detailed suggestions.

What's up with "updates"????

So why is the updating of the tax forms such a hot mess? You go to the correct screen and hit update forms and nothing happens. No where does it say you have to close out the program and re-open it to get the updates, not even in the help menus. You either need to fix this issue or include a note that states updates don't really update until you close and re-open the program. This is extremely frustrating and only happens at the end of the project when you are afraid you might lose information when you close the program.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Updates never works well.

Reliable even at my age

I'm getting near retirement age. So, I've done my taxes on paper and online for over 4 decades.
I've been a TurboTax guy for 11 years - maybe 12. I don't remember 'cause I'm old.
Why TurboTax? Because there is nothing better, cost effective, and more reliable to handle our tax forms burden. So, If you want to live to be an old guy, use TurboTax to relieve the strain.

What's great about it: Step-by-step process

Faster and Easier Than Ever

Tax Year 2013 version seemed quicker and easier to understand. Best experience to date although, they've all been good.
What's great about it: awkward questions/instructions gone...easier to understand this year.

questioning whether or not I got the max refund

I bought a new house in 2013 and felt that the tax info regarding the purchase was very unclear. Not sure if I got the maximum refund that I should have got.
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: I don't feel it covered everything I needed to cover
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
