Always Easy

Loaded and prepared both Federal & State returns in a couple of hours.
Have been using Turbo Tax for several years and always easy and quick.

Significant Oversight

There was no indication of the need for addressing RMD problems, and it was very difficult to determine how to do this once I realized the need. I discovered the need through other sources -- TurboTax simply ignores this topic. Once I figured out that I needed to file form 5329 and how to account for it on the 1040, I was able to go to the form in TurboTax manually and fill it out, then TT included it in the return and included the needed information on the 1040. But there should have been something in TT to warn of & address this need. At least "Do you have an IRA?" and "Did you take the full required minimum distribution?"
What's great about it: Mostly clear and easy to use
What's not so great: IRA Problems

I have used Turbo-Tax for almost 10 years. It is easy, fast and thorough. You get expert advice and lots of checks. Couldn't get any easier!
What's great about it: Easy to understand, additional help messages are not confusing

I used turbo tax for 15 years and would not pay anyone else to do my taxes. The process is easy, intuitive, and thorough.
What's great about it: Complete step by step walkthrough of preparing my taxes
What's not so great: All of easy money being make as add-on fees required to get my refund direct deposited.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Just as fast and easy as advertised. Just make sure that the computer account is the one for the system administrator.

My life has settled down. Same pensions, employer, pattern of donation. Starting from last years return makes the whole process straight forward. Electronic filing is a nice plus as well.
What's great about it: Works as it should
