Overall the program is awesome and completing the taxes are easy.
The filing could use a minor adjustment. It almost is trying to make it difficult, or deceptive, on how to file state by mail, which is free versus e-filiing where there is a charge.
You have to file your Federal electronically and then go back and select file by mail on the Federal filing option. Eventually you get to the state and can print for filing.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and complete the return

Basically, if you can answer step-by-step questions, you can do you taxes. The program checks your work and provides great recommendations. I wouldn't recommend any other program (certainly don't file with paper and pencil)!

Like the flexibility of either using the 'Guided Interview' or 'Do it on your own' process. Some subjects are pretty straight forward, others you need a little guidance. Occasionally, the 'Guided' approach will ask a question that will make you think if it's applicable to you this year. Had that occasion this year and was able to add a deduction I hadn't thought of previously which had significant savings.
What's great about it: Easy, Straight Forward, Flexible
What's not so great: Some terms need clearer definitions

Max Refund Plus An Extra Weekend This Year!

TurboTax has polished this application to a shine. Tips and clarifications are relevant and actually answer user's questions. The process flow is flawless almost to a fault...I finished my Federal return and took several minutes trying to start my State return before I noticed that it was already done!
What took me 1-2 days in the past, is down to 4 hours this year...I shall take my "extra weekend" and enjoy it.
What's great about it: The step transition feedback is outstanding...you can not get lost in this application.
What's not so great: None

When Over-riding something simple in forms, Turbo Tax would not let me pass the Review Section without changing it back. Was forced to mail Returns rather than e-filing because of this stopper.
What's great about it: Super simple to use
What's not so great: There are still things stopping it from being perfect
