Turbo tax delux

Where is the calculator, needs to be one in the program. What is up with the print, when I print all copies there are streaks but if I do forms only it prints perfectly. Yes the issue was in the turbo tax program. Have used it before this years version is pretty poor compared to previous editions. Not very interactive. also needs more helps as you are going through the program for line by line help.

Some of the features from previous years have been lost. E.g. data transferred from 2012 was incomplete and a clear comparison chart lacked numerous details. Error check indicated one area, which when clicked, took me to an altogether different section of my return. "It's Deductible" has lost its ability to allow customizable items to be entered. Finally, securing an e-filing Pin, which in the past was instantaneous, instead took me to an IRS page which requested that I enter extremely sensitive data (including SSN) on line. I like the program and have used it for about 20 years, but lately each year it seems to lose accuracy and become less user friendly.
What's great about it: Step by step is a great way to catch up with changes in tax law.
What's not so great: Program seems to have lost some accuracy from previous years.

Easy to Follow

I have used TurboTax Deluxe for nearly 20 years and it makes tax preparation much easier than manual preparation. It's interview keeps improving. It even has capability of tracking filer and spouse as residents of different states which is particularly useful for military personnel. The one thing that has suffered, is that there is no useful way to manually navigate the interview (like a navigation tree) which used to be included at one time.
What's great about it: The interview is quite easy to follow and improves each year
What's not so great: Deluxe Edition should include one state e-file. No easy way to navigate interview.

Quick and Easy

The largest problem was dealing with timeshare expenses for maintenance and upkeep. Many people I know have purchased these time share ans no one knows for sur ehow to handle the maintenance expense.
What's great about it: easy to understand and very user freindly
What's not so great: Didn't ask some questions that I think are pertinent

I like this service because it takes a lot of the guesswork out of preparing your taxes. I use the guided method just to make sure I don't miss anything important and it is a good learning tool even if the item doesn't apply to you.
What's great about it: Explanations are available as you proceed to help understand what Turbo tax is looking for.
What's not so great: Edits don't always show up as updated even though they are.
