The overall program is pretty good. Very comprehensive. I dislike being charged for the State return. Trying to scam more money out of everyone after they are deep into the return. This is my third year using turbo tax. Next year I'm trying a different program that's less expensive and doesn't charge extras.

Taking back my money

I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to use Turbo Tax. It takes the stress out of preparing taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is the next best thing since gthe shirt pocket was invented, It is explicit, asking spot on questions .
What's not so great: I like everything about Turbo Tax. I have been using it for over 10 years.

Makes complex returns simple

I have just started doing my tax returns myself. I am truly a horrid Math person and figured a nightmare was upon me. But Turbo tax made the process of filing taxes simple, quick and precise.
What's great about it: simple, easy to do, all is explained
What's not so great: Non that cause any issue

it always make me nervous doing my taxes, but when finished, I am always pleased that I have gained a better understanding of my tax situation, and also it gives me better insight as how to maximize my return.

Quick and easyTax preparation

Very easy to use. The program leads you by the hand, requiring you to only fill in the numbers. All required forms are attached automatically, All you have to do is read the data from your forms, e..g. W-2 or 1099-R, and type it in the box when asked. If you can read you can prepare your tax forms expertly.
What's great about it: Lead you by the hand in preparing the forms. Best on the market for either an experienced user or a new comer.
What's not so great: A little pricey. You have to pay extra to e-file state returns.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Amazing!!

This is a great program for someone who needs help getting back to most money they deserve! I used to go to a tax consultant until about two years ago. We tried turbo tax and have been getting maximum refund amount every time! Thanks!
What's great about it: It's so simple to use even non-tax savvy people like myself can use it!
What's not so great: It involves taxes!
