Great Product But Has Frustrating Bugs

I have used TT for 8 years and love it. However TT 2013 has a few annoying bugs. The one that was the most frustrating was that it wouldn't let me transmit/file until I ran updates.
I updated, and tried again. Same error message. I updated again and tried - same error message. After the 3rd time, I researched online for a solution. Many others had the same problem and TT had 3 solutions to try. It took me all 3 and it finally worked.
Why not fix these bugs in your updates? Very frustrating, but I love the easy step by step process that makes filing taxes a quick and easy process.
What's great about it: Nice and Easy Step by Step
What's not so great: Several software bugs

An up-front advisory regarding amount of standard deduction allowed might save preparation time. Could simply estimate itemized deduction amount and decide to go with standard rather than spend time inputting numerous numbers.
What's great about it: Trust worthy and relatively quick process. E-filing is great.
What's not so great: Adding itemized deductions takes time, then use standard deduction

I've been using TurboTax for more than 10 years. My son is graduating from college this spring. Somehow I will end up using 3 out of the allowed 4 years of education credits. I wish TTax had been more adept at alerting me to this great deduction.
What's great about it: Appears to cover everything
What's not so great: I wish it remembered more from year to year

Turbo Tax comments

Federal Return was easy to work with for informastion input.. State for Maryland was a disaster. It did not allow me to input infromation through normal work sheet. Had to bring up file folders to input esrtimated tax payments, and change subtrationa and additions the backward way. . Should be structured similarly to the federal return for a work sheet for data input, Hope you would consider revising the state return so it is easier to input information.
Would be nice if you provided an index for all the veroius extra infromation that is avaiable on your program, but it is not readily appernt that the information can access by the user.!!!

What's great about it: Fed was easy.
What's not so great: State return was very bad set-up. Had to use Files to input information. Could not get into normal work lists!!!
