ON ITEMS SUBJECT TO QUALIFICATION. IRA DECUCTABILITY FOR EXAMPLE. SHOULD TELL BASED ON INCOME DONT QUALIFY BEFORE ENTERING DATA AND THEN TELLING ME.

So So this year

In the past I have loved TT. This year it was pulling teeth. I almost filed a written form!
What's not so great: Moved from one state to another. TT kept on putting the both states income into each return - and taxing me on it! Ug
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Overall- Turbo Tax has been great for 8 years now.
What's great about it: Easy Guided Questions; Excellent Deduction Finders
What's not so great: Mileage deduction for business quetions changed and needed more guidance in order to be able to take deduction.

First Time User

As a first time Turbo Tax user, I didn't know what to expect. The process is pretty simple, the suggestions were appreciated. I have manually done tax returns in the past, have used direct deposit for several tax seasons. I was not aware of the additional fee to e-file my state return or the additional fee to use direct deposit on refunds. I'm not sure I will use e-file IF I use Turbo Tax again. I might just print and mail forms in the future.
What's great about it: The process was relatively simple, moved along nicely.
What's not so great: I felt blind-sided by additional fees to e-file state, direct deposit refund.

Death and Taxes

Takes some time initially to set it up but after that it's simple since it can use last years info.
I tried it a few years ago and it was so frustrating to get it set up I junked it and kept doing it manually.
Then one year I had to pay in quite a bit so I tried it again as a last resort and the improvements made it easier to use than I remember.
The result was instead of paying in, I received a refund!!!
Made a believer out of me.

What's great about it: After the initial setup it has become extremely simple to use. You don't need to be a computer guru.
What's not so great: Haven't been disappointed yet.

Easy Job

This went very well and took a lot off my mind. I feel confident that this is more accurate than when I did it myself, or at least I didn't have to worry about math errors.
What's great about it: This was far easier than manually doing thework and more accurate.
What's not so great: First time fears
