Easy and Fast, Right at Home

I have used TurboTax for as long as I can remember. It is easy and fast. I don't have to haul all of my paper work to a professional's office. I can start and stop if I need too, as well. There is no need to stress.
What's great about it: Easy to follow questions

I like turbo tax because it sends you through all the details of what might and might not be good for you to try and get a deduction. It also makes suggestions for you to possibly upgrade through out the program. Gives you several options to try if you do not have any deductions then you can go straight to filing your taxes. It walks you through everything possible.
What's great about it: caculations of deductions
What's not so great: no specific details of business program

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now. I use to go to a large national tax preparation service. After a few years of sitting across the desk answering questions and watching the person across from me input it into the computer I thought to myself, "I can do that". After finding Turbo Tax I have never looked back. Very easy to use. Walks me through the entire process and gets me the largest possible refund. Great job Turbo Tax! Thank you!!

Taxes on 401k Withdrawals / State Tax Comparison

401K Withdrawal: We had to deal with a 401K withdrawal for tax year 2013. We were at a loss trying to figure out in the Turbo Tax documents and listed information how our state taxes were impacted by the 401K amount that was withdrawn. I can only assume that Turbo Tax did the correct calculations but I cannot determine how my state taxes were impacted by the 401k withdrawal.
State Taxes Comparison: Turbo Tax showed a line item by line item comparison between my 2012 and 2013 federal income, deductions, etc., but does not do the same comparison with state taxes. We had approx. $2500 in differences between 2012 and 2013 state taxes and it was very difficult to evaluate what caused the difference.
What's not so great: Very little data or information for state taxes evaluation.

Confusing on downloading w2's electronically. Let me import 1 W2 dollar amounts and then had to input manually all other W2's dollar amounts. Did not see a button to ask me to import the next W2 dollar amounts. Did give me last years business and addresses of W2's.

I have used Turbo Tax for the past several years and have been very pleased including this year except for prior to e-filing return it suddenly asked me for address information from a W-2?? That should have been handled on the import section of the W-2 and not at e-filing. With all of the Cyber Attacks occurring lately, that caused me to wonder if I should enter that information. Overall a good experience, with some major concern at the end.
What's great about it: Easy to go through-fast process
What's not so great: Asked me for address information on a W-2 as I was e-filing??
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
