Had to pay in but still satisfied

I had to file my tax returns, my son's and my mother's. All were very easy to do with the step by step instructions. I have paid hundreds of dollars to have my taxes prepared by a professional accountant. What a waste! Turbo Tax is now my new BFF.
What's great about it: Walking through the process was easy and relatively painless.
What's not so great: I don't like tax season in general

Tax tool that is SHARP

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and it has always been reliable.
I wouldn't use anything else to file my taxes!

When printing the selection of "key" calculation pages should be better explained; such as print "calculation pages used" or something to that effect.

Best tax program for individuals with simple tax returns. Seeing as it is what the professionals also use, it must be state of the art. I trust it.
What's great about it: Easy to use for simple returns

Turbo tax made it easy for me to file my taxes and I felt confident that I wasn't making any mistakes! LOVE, LOVE filing with Turbo Tax! And it is so quick! especially when you have a busy lifestyle!!!

Not sure why there isn't better information from TurboTax if the transmission fails. This is the first time in 5+ years that there has been any sort of failure message. Now I'm not sure if there is going to be charge for the electronic filing or not and there isn't an explanation as to what in the transmission failed.
This would be a great feature to concentrate on for next year!

Easy filling & filing of taxes year after year

This year TurboTax improved dramatically over the previous years. I was dreading filling out my taxes this year more than usual. When I finally decided to get started, I was pleasantly surprised how easy and user friendly it was. My previous year's info. was seamlessly uploaded and away I went.
I will buy TurboTax again next year. I have recommended this program to friends and family.

Schedule C self employed

This years version was confusing to me and others I've talked to. The 1099 section was clear but it was confusing when completing my schedule C info.. some epenses were completedin the 1099 section some I had to do in the business income section
Suggestion is once I start the 1099 then do all of the buisness data entry there.
