A hard year to submit.

Also needed help in filing. Appear changes from last year made things a bit more complex. This is the first year I have had to contact TurboTax for help. Not a hard return.
What's great about it: Normally easy to complete.
What's not so great: This year I had to contact TurboTax three times. Fed had not been updated, State would not download and I needed help.

Overall great, 7th or 8th year in a row. Easy time and frustration saver once I got past loading issue this year. Wasted a lot of time with loading issue for Windows XP and assumed that the patch would have be automatic or identified since program reaches out to Intuit to look for updates while loading. Initially looked in wrong place for patch (apparently how you Google issue matters). Overall once loaded very solid and trustworthy with good guidance and leads on what to do or look for.
What's great about it: easy to follow and understand step by step with explanations if or as needed
What's not so great: Frustrated in beginning with Error:1603 when loading for Windows XP - didn't find patch at Intuit until after multiple t

EZ to file and pay

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and this is the first time I efiled, am happy I did and nice that it's free!!!!
What's great about it: all is good
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

State Guidance Missing

no guidance to help determine what paperwork must be filed with state return, especially with K-1, which prevented E-filing

Never Again!

It's a shame obscenities can't be used. I have never been so frustrated by the inability to simply print without the unbelievable hassle of "You need to use One Note" and then trying to access and create still another account before being able to print. I will never use TurboTax again (It used to be a product that I returned to each year. But, Never again.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to prepare taxes
What's not so great: Can't print
