Long Time Turbo Tax User

I have used Turbo Tax for 20+ years and it gets better every year. The option to use Easy Guide or go directly to specific form is great. Links to additional information on topics is very handy. I feel secure that Turbo Tax does all the calculations correctly and does double checks along the way.
What's great about it: Easy guide helps find all the deductions to lower my tax.
What's not so great: State electronic filing should be free like Federal.

Very good but hard to correct entries

After realizing I had made a couple entry errors earlier, discovered in the "Review" process, I had a hard time getting back to #and finding# the right "step" in the EasyGuide process. Switching over to "Forms" view, I couldn't find a way to delete an erroneously created Schedule C. Finally found my way to Step-by-Step "Income" section, and opened #edited# the erroneous entry. This program should have enabled me to right-click and "jump" to this section - or the input page - from Worksheet I being forced to fill out #based on my erroneous creation of the Schedule C#. It seems to me the earlier versions of TurboTax were much easier in that regard #I could be wrong, just getting older...#
What's great about it: Easy overall
What's not so great: Very cumbersome getting back to an item that needed correction

My NYC pension is 100% exempt for New York State and New York City taxes but TurboTax does not handle this fact properly.

Too Simple

Automatically imports previous year data, Step by Step just too easy, Deluxe imported capital gains from Stock dividends and capital gain losses, "It's a scary product because it works just too good, and so User Friendly".
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I'm loving it each year I purchase it. It almost makes me want to do family and friends:)
Perhaps a small charge. It is fun, does all the work for me.

GREAT software

I have been using this software for over 20 years with GREAT success. Now... there have been years that I have had to pay and others where I had a professional firm do them, but each year TurboTax has been consistently correct. It allows me to file with confidence. One year, it even caught some money that "they" missed. GREAT going TurboTax. E-filing is also very easy to do and removes the worrying.
What's great about it: File with confidence
What's not so great: No down side that I can think of...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
