Not as impressed - Errors in business expense form

Would have given it 5 stars if I didn't run into math errors in the business expense section.

Great Program

Costs more than other tax programs, but it works extrememly well for a complicated return. Far simpler than the program with the green logo.
What's great about it: Far superior to other programs
What's not so great: none that i can see

Amended returns confusing

I had to amend my federal return and at first I selected my original return and picked "amend a return" at the bottom of the first page. The next page asked me which return to amend and I selected the 2013 return. However after completing and printing I only got a 'new' return. I had to search your web site to discover that I needed to duplicate the original return or save a copy and then select amend the return at the bottom of the page with all the different items for a return. Then I got the proper amended return form with a % change column. this was very confusing and took me an extra two hours. I would hope you would eliminate 'amend a return' choices where they should not be.
What's great about it: automatic math and fill ins on all appropriate forms
What's not so great: selecting the 'proper' way to amend a return

I've used TurboTax for years. It is easy and reliable. One year I had an accountant friend do my taxes as well, and he missed some things that TurboTax did not.
What's great about it: Ease of use, and easy help files

I noticed that the program did not automatically open or go to an area where deductions was taken last year. Had I not checked and went to that area I wouldn't have gotten a deduction. This happened when I let the program walk me through.

My personal executive e-assistant

It took me less than an hour to do my taxes this year. This product is amazing I have a lot on confidence in the accuracy. This is the 7th year I have used TurboTax and cannot imagine going back to the manual way of doing things. is just like having a personal executive e-assistant.
What's great about it: Confidence that everything was being addressed.
