not as good as in past years

The program did not download the updates until the end. I had a lot of trouble transferring information from my brokerage account (I did it all by hand rather than by electronic transfer of information). Almost no guidance about this. And filing fee was more expensive than I remember from last year, but $10.
What's not so great: Not as many helpful steps inserted as in the past

Another successful tax season

Overall really like the product. Wish the integration and data import from Quicken was a bit more seamless and comprehensive (like retrieving IRA information and charitable deductions).
What's great about it: Easy to use and comprehensive
What's not so great: Should link all returns from the same family (check for dependents etc)
Pros: I bought or sold investments

This is my fifth year using Turbo Tax and it seems to get better each year. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: I liked the help sections
What's not so great: A few things I had trouble finding an explanation or it wasn't clear

A piece of cake!

I was facing my first IRS filing after full retirement with no small degree of trepidation but TurboTax came through for me again. While I ended up owing money it was less than I anticipated. I'll be keeping a closer eye on investment dividends in the future with Intuit's assistance.
What's great about it: Ease of use, concise explanations, accuracy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I will never pay a tax professional again

I am very satisfied with my experience. I have paid large sums of money to tax professionals before because I have numerous itemized deductions.
This program made it all very simple for a lot less.
What's great about it: easy to use, inexpensive, larger return

Like the software but not happy that I have to buy the state software AND pay for state efile.
