I was unable to import my information from US Bank even though I entered all the required info. I was also unable to import 1099-DIV information from TD Ameritrade after several attempts following their detailed instructions. I was able import Option transactions using GainsKeeper instructions..
What's not so great: See below.

So easy

If you lead a fairly simple life: work, own a house, have a few deductions and some investments, it's a no-brainer and a huge savings over the tax pros. I know I don't have any very special circumstances and so there is no need to be scared. I've used TT for about 10 years now with few issues.
What's great about it: Every step is clearly guided
What's not so great: Once in a while, codes don't seem to match in box 14

good product year after year... but missed 529

Overall a big fan of turbotax and have used it for years. I would continue to recommend.
One issue this year is that it missed asking me for 529 contributions... I had to catch it in the printed documents. Surprised turbotax didn't catch it first... didn't really maximize my return.
However, the reason I caught it was the year over year comparisons... I love this feature. Really helps you see what's happening from year to year.

When reviewing the check for errors, I wish it could take me back to the place on Turbo Tax where the error occurred. I had an error that I had to go through almost the entire contents to find where the error came from. It was not in a spot I would have suspected.
What's great about it: Easy walk through, nice to have last year's information already on this years.
What's not so great: Check for errors
