Qualified dividends worksheet in in error

On the qualified dividends and capital gains worksheet, line 1 says "enter the amount from form 1040, line 43.
Turbotax entered the number from line 27, taxable income.
I hope/assume this is just a incorrect line number.

2013 Deluxe

Explicit step-by-step guidance does not automatically appear. I had to go to the form, which fortunately already existed from a prior year, and ask for help at which point the step-by-step appeared, but it was not offered by following the entire step-by-step guide.
What's great about it: State taxes were easy once the federal is done.
What's not so great: I had a hard time getting the step-by-step for depreciables.

I would use TurboTax again. It is fairly easy to use but can become a little confusing when you have to go back because information doesn't match or it seems to be asking another question.
What's great about it: fairly easy to use
What's not so great: can get a little confusing in some places when trying to figure out where mistakes are made

OK but requires overrides

I've used TurboTax for years. It handles the unique needs of clergy (especially, the housing allowance) very poorly or not at all. The default way of doing things must be overridden to make it work. Secondly, (and this would apply to more than clergy) if there is a need to write a note of explanation to the IRS, there is no provision to do so. If anything does not fit TurboTax's default way of doing things, then E-file is not available, and the return must be mailed in; however, TurboTax does make this very easy. 2012 TurboTax took the housing allowance into consideration, but 2013 TurboTax returned to the policy of previous years of not providing for entering the housing allowance. I will continue using TurboTax, because I know the work arounds, and it is otherwise an excellent product.
What's great about it: Easy to use IF you are not unusual in your needs
What's not so great: Clergy MUST override income since no provision is made for housing allowance

Great software every year

It is wonderful that year after year we have no worries when I sit down to do our taxes. Turbo Tax has saved lots of tedious, repetitive work. Every year, for the past 7 years, we have relied on Turbo Tax to keep track of all our tax returns. This allows instant views of any forms that are needed for other financial reasons.

many miscalcuate on state tax.

Very very bad on stated tax, many over or miscalculate state tax. it is caused us over pay lot of money to stated tax board.

Less thorough information/explanation topics available this year resulted in my having to consult/download some IRS and state publications to feel confident in responses on my return.
