There was a problem with an upgrade of the software.
What's great about it: User friendly and a clear step-by step guide

Ive used TT for about 10years and plan to continue
What's great about it: simple and fast
What's not so great: may not ask all the questions to enable maximum return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 tax review

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I like the ease of use. The transfer from one year to the next is great. For an- old ham handed plowboy with considerably less than the best typing skills, it is great. When all done, it is easy to make the file copies and file folder.
What's great about it: Easy to use, great transfer from previous year. The step by step process is super. I can do the taxes in spurts.
What's not so great: None really, except I would like some better method of quick reeview on a previous 1099 form.

Simple and fast

I have been using turbo tax for 30 years and very satisfied.
What's great about it: interview process very good
What's not so great: questions on foreign income, not clear if taxable or not
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

-I had trouble figuring out how to print a displayed page or form. Also, when I called up "Preview Page" I had a hard time getting out of that view. Recommend a red x in the upper right corner.
- When importing data from a financial institution I had a problem with joint accounts. EG when I logged into my Fidelity account and imported my data, then logged into my wife's account and imported her data, several accounts were duplicated resulting in excess earnings. I recommend TT look for duplicate account numbers and provide flag as duplicate and ask user if he/she wants to delete the imported record.
- BUG. On "Investment Sales" sheet program used my "cost per share" from my imported data as my "cost basis." Had to manually correct it in the form.
- When I was editing an imported 1099-R form, the program suddenly switched to another 1099-R form for editing. I never did figure out why TT did this.

What's not so great: Not all "features" and "choices" well explained
