Peace of mind and easy to use.

I've used TurboTax for 3 years, to do my adult kids's respective tax returns as well as ours. Pretty easy process, good pdf printouts. And a lot cheaper than the accountant I used to pay who may very well be using TurboTax : )
What's great about it: easy to follow, recall info from previous years helps.
What's not so great: sometimes wraps you in an annoying loop asking you info you don't need to enter or don't know.

Needs some work

Inadvertantly hit the "x" instead of the "-" causing TurboTax to close. In previous versions, you always asked if we wanted to save the file before closing, but this time it didn't - causing me to lose and reenter a huge amount of data.
In the Oklahoma state tax section, TurboTax asks if each sale of stock or other security is subject to special handling, and requires us to check a box if this IS NOT the case. This has to be done individually for each sale, and gets rather tedious if you have 30 or so sales. Further, when a sale is off the screen, the list returns to its original position after checking the box, so we have to scroll down again. I lost my place three times, and finally had to print a list and check the list to be sure I had captured each one. Finally, TurboTax let me proceed.
Why not put a 'Yes' box and a 'No' box by the side of each sale to eliminate the back and forth effort now required?
What's great about it: Overall, very good
What's not so great: Inadvertant closure protection, OK capital gains

Done in 60 minutes

It only took me an hour to complete the filing process, from start to finish. Prior to starting I used Quicken to prepare all of the necessary reports to show all of the information that I would be required to enter. Even if you were completely disorganized, I doubt it would take you more than one day to gather information as your proceed through Turbo Tax's step-by-step process.
What's great about it: Easy, Fast, Accurate, Dependable
What's not so great: What's not to like?

Easy guide is great. The software also allows you to jump around manually. I also like the comparison to last years return, it prompts me for any missed items.

I have been a user since 2006 and am ever so grateful for how easy it is and seems to get easier each year..
What's great about it: Finished in about 1 1/2 hours
What's not so great: All fees, ie state and filing should be stated up front

Still the best available for a Tax Filing Win/Win

Overall, my use of Turbo Tax for the last 15 + years has been an
excellent choice for a Consulting practice, General Partnership,
and personal filings of taxes. I have have several audits over the years and have always been able to clarify and address any items that have needed reviewing by Tax Authorities. Once, I was commended for how well my documentation and records supported my partnership's audit. The IRS agents said they were going to use my documents as a template for auditing other consulting firms. Quicken, Quick Books and Turbo Tax products have been my tools and still my choice in retirement. Well done Intuit!

What's great about it: The More you use it the easier it has gotten and I love it
What's not so great: Removing and starting over a State file amended by mistake was quite a challenge
