At the beginning it stated I got 1 free state filing, but it Turbo-Tax charged me for my state filing. This was a little disapointing

have used Turbo Tax since the last century. Every year consistent returns, easy filing and no hassles. Improvements every year keep me coming back. Even the other guys offer to show me that they can get me more, doesn't pan out. Turbo Tax has always gotten me my maximum refund.
What's great about it: Asks questions, doesn't expect us to know everything

After calling the help desk,I was able to install updates,but even then I had to ask how to get my E-file to go through,which involved restarting my MAC.(I'm not a real computer whiz,although after this, I'm better than I was!
What's great about it: very detailed easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: not immediately clear how to do updates,or that they were even needed.

Could not e-file because program did nothing when I clicked on "check for updates" and program refused to e-file until it updated.

Great program as always. I had a capital loss this year and the ability of TurboTax to import the info and complete the forms was a great benefit.
What's great about it: Ability to import info for some of the forms.
What's not so great: Would like to be able to print some of the screens in addition to forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

If you want to go back & check on a single entry I found you have go back to almost the beginning & go through the whole section to find the one thing you wanted to check. If you click on a topic it takes you back to the very beginning & not the specific item you clicked on.
You are forced to constantly keep scrolling down to find the continue/next button in order to move on to the next topic. Why not put a next/continue button at the top of the page so you don't have to keep scrolling. This has bugged me for years.
