I like TurboTax. The only thing That I don't like is so many questions that I don't know how to relate to my tax. It is possible to narrow down the questions only related to the tax information that are provided?
What's great about it: I don't need to do all the calculations
What's not so great: So many questions that I don't know how to answer them.

Some good, some bad

With its easy to use interface, TurboTax is OK.
What's great about it: Easy to use interface. Walk-through questioning a plus.
What's not so great: Cost of TurboTax. Cost to file State is return is insane!

Allow more than 1 item to be saved on ClipBoard

Easy to use just wish it could keep more than 1 item on Windows Clipboard when there are duplicate entries especially for the IRA list of funds with the same address. Tedious but if we had multiple lines in clipboard about 3 or 4 then could use Ctrl C-> Ctrl V to copy\paste data. Also why allow user to leave fund listing if they forget to enter the Funds tax ID Number? Easy to do and I forgot 5 out of 7 ID's . You obviously check during the Review so why not call up the function to check before we leave page?
What's great about it: Easy to read
What's not so great: If fonts magnified using CTL+ then Continue button hid and large amount of white space between Menu's and Back & Ctn bt

Annoying and Buggie

Turbotax made a mistake on my capital gains because it was unable to handle 1099-B forms. Every time I tried to fix it, it wouldn't delete the old attempt and instead duplicated the forms.
More commonly I was annoyed at the way you navigate through the program:
1) When you enter into 1 category to update it (say "moving expenses"), after you update it the program just moves on to the next item rather than returning to the deductions page.
2) Every time I updated some information, I had to answer a lot of other questions repeatedly, especially on the state forms. For example, if I updated something , I would have to scroll through 15 pages telling it again that I was not a member of a native american tribe, that I did not own a home, that I was not a farmer, that I did not own some energy efficient thing, etc.
3) I waste a lot of time researching and inputting information that would only matter if I was itemizing deductions. The program is only valuable if I save time. Somehow I need to more quickly see that I am unlikely to benefit from the effort to look things up.
What's great about it: It's almost well organized
What's not so great: I had to enter information in repeatedly.

Tubo tax is a great product - it makes paying taxes almost fun!

Great with one exception

Everything was going great right up until filing when I hit a roadblock that couldn't be cleared with out a rep's help. Should have been in FAQ or community support.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and thorough
What's not so great: Problems can't be solved without contacting TurboTax

I think it keeps my 85 year old mind in shape as it walks me through all the steps. And that is good.
