Last Week Success

As usual, I waited until the last week for preparing my return. Not that mine is overly complicated, but I just don't enjoy the process of sending my money to DC, even though I am well aware they already have it. Turbo Tax means that I can do this, as having used it for the past few years, I can rely on it to get the job done in a prompt manner.
What's great about it: Easy to use and can be relied upon.
What's not so great: Thus far - none are obvious

Painless tax program. Needed help with something & selected over the phone option & was talking to your rep within 2 minutes. Another minute & problem was fixed. It was a loose connection between the keyboard and the chair! Wouldn't use anything else to do my taxes.
What's great about it: shows you the way or you can choose on your own
What's not so great: state efile cost seems too high

I've been using TurboTax for about ten years because it's simple yet doesn't let me forget anything important.

Still have to send paper to IRS even when e-file

Per IRS and the help files, an attached .pdf file of a 8453 for a vehicle donation is acceptable 'if the tax software supports'. I am disappointed that this years TurboTax does not support that option.
What's great about it: Good product, have been using TurboTax for about 30 years
What's not so great: Had to buy new computer to support the higher resource requirements

Fantastic product

Great software product and I have been using it for at least 16 years. Now that my kids are grown up and working, I have shown them how easy it is to do their own tax returns. They love the idea that they do not need to pay someone to do their returns. With the money they save, they applied it towards dinner with their significant other. what a great idea. In additional, with all the references available at their finger tips, they are learning the tax laws and becoming more educated on world and political issue. I have recommended this product to all of my friends and family members and have brag on how easy it is to use. love the product.
What's great about it: able to easly switch from state to state return and all information is carried forward

Again I faced the daunting task of Income Taxes and TurboTax did it again...easy simple and confident.
What's great about it: Very simple and easy to go through all of the complicated pieces, Yay!
What's not so great: none that I know of...I have been using this SW for 8 years.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
