Terrible program this year

Very dissapointing experience. Program suppose to be compatable with windows Vista but not. No way to talk to live Turbotax person to resolve, at least not by any information provided by belp section of Turbotax program. Kept getting error message when trying to download updated forms. Turbotax forums did not help. Had to finally load Turbotax on older computer that ran XP in order to get it to work. Wasted a lot of time.
What's great about it: ease of doing taxes and transfering info from last years turbotax forms
What's not so great: error messes when trying to update forms

copy too light

the printed return is too light. the forms print perfectly, but the data is almost too light to read and it appears to be blue, not black. It is not my printer as I said the forms print perfectly. I was embarrassed to file my state return because it was so light.

Awesome experience. Haven't done my own taxes in over 25 years! Much easier than doing long hand like the good old days. Will continue to use TurboTax for sure!!

Could Not E-file

I've used Turbotax for years without difficulty. This year, no matter how many times I tried to update as instructed, the system would not let me e-file, even after I paid to do so. I sincerely hope they do not charge me as I had to go back to the "mail-in" option.
I kept trying until it is 4/11 and finally gave up.

It is doubtful I will purchase the product again.
What's great about it: TurboTax user for years
What's not so great: This year was a nightmare! Could not e-file.

Easy Refund!

Absolutely love Turbo Tax. We have been using it for years now. It provides complete guidance of completing your taxes. I decided to go with Turbo Tax after finding tax deductions that our personal tax advisor missed on previously filed taxes. Turbo Tax hasn't missed a beat. Maximizes our refund yearly! Thanks Turbo Tax!

option to e-file fed only

when prompted if I would like to E-file, it only allowed for e-filing both or neither. you should be able to to choose to e-file separately.

I have used other tax preparation programs, I have used TurboTax for 6 years, & will never use anything but TurboTax, I even went to the tax classes for another big company, thats well know by just letters, TurboTax is what I will use period.
What's great about it: have used TurboTax for years
