Familiarity

I can either attribute my familiarity with Turbo Tax or the software continues to be more efficient every year. I use both methods each year depending on the section. I feel better to use step by step for areas where there are changes (to personal situation) or something new.
The commercials are spot on "tell us what happened over the past year"
Not sure why e-file option for state is an additional charge, but I have no problem to print and file.
What's great about it: Choice of approach (step by step or you choose)
What's not so great: Prefer history comparison using numbers instead of bar chart

Always impressed!

I've been using TT for years and although I HATE doing my taxes...I have to admit, the comments, attitude and quips in TT make me chuckle and certainly lightens the atmosphere. It's even better when the refund box shows up!! I smirk when I hear people pay hundreds to have others do their taxes for them. Can't go wrong with TT.
What's great about it: User friendly and feels like a "friend".
What's not so great: Uh...none

Overall things were very simple and the customer service for the state return was great. Will use again next year.

Best Yet

Makes an unpleasant activity as bearable as possible. I use TurboTax because I found that I was doing most of the same work to get my stuff ready for an accountant. With Turbo Tax it walks me through the necessary activities in a simple and logical fashion and ends up getting it done fast and right. What else could you ask for.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, thorough and yet understandable.
What's not so great: Pension Income MRD needs some better explanation.

Transferring tax info from previous year is a big time saver and eliminates making entry errors. I also like seeing the tax/refund amounts as I proceeded through the topics. Gave me a better understanding of the iompact of what I was entering. I will continue using Turbo Tax in future.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to understand and use
What's not so great: It seems when I needed to edit an entry I had to keep re-entering all the same fields all over again. Got to be annoying
