Farm & Farm Rental & 2nd Country "IRA"

Farm and farm rental entry has no place to enter info (Deluxe Turbo). Accepted rent income but not expenses. --- Had to use "Real Estate" section for expenses. ---- major flaw in my opinion. At one point it was showing income in both "Farm" and "Real Estate"; not good. had to go back and start over. But end results is that "Income" is shown in "Farm" and a negative expense in "Real Estate" ------ do not do it this way next year ----- PLEASE !!!!!!!!
An "IRA" like pension from another country based entirely on work done in that country (earned income in years passed); But with person having dual residency and subject to tax laws of both countries, Turbo Tax does not seem to have any clarification as how to treat such income.

Overall, I have been satisfied with using this product. In the past I have had problems with miscalculations and information ending up in the wrong place but this year I did not. I do trust the program to be as accurate as possible. It has made the whole process so much less stressful.
What's great about it: Easy walk-through, calculations to find best options, useful information and explanations
What's not so great: Sometimes I am not sure just exactly what is needed or where to put certain types of information,

2013 Tax Returns

The tax returns before you were able to go to a form and easly make changes and corrections.
What's great about it: Was easy to go through
What's not so great: Going back to look at problems is not easy at all

Suggestion for Deductions

I would like to see an option for deductions, after finishing the income entries, to select the standard deduction. Many of us cannot beat the standard deduction. This would speed up the time it takes to finish our returns.

More text in the 'help' for K-1's needed to make it less confusing. Much needed with involving states and local if involved.
What's great about it: Easier than previous years.
What's not so great: Except K-1's makes it real confusing, of what is really needed to do.

Overall. very easy to use. It's very comprehensive and complete for my taxes. However, at one point, I got caught in a loop with state taxes. I wanted to do a review, but it took me back to the state start page, even though I had already completed the state form. I gave up and went to the file section, and everything worked ok for e-filing and printing.

Overall, I like TurboTax and continue to use it year after year. Next year will be no different..........unless I hit the lottery.
What's great about it: Step by step directions of what to do and not to do
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
