THIS IS MY LAST TIME TO USE TURBO TAX IF YOU DO NOT CORRECT THIS. I TOLD YOU THIS LAST YEAR & HAVE THE SAME RESULTS THIS YEAR.
What's great about it: USE FRIENDLY
What's not so great: CAN'T EFILE MY RETURN/ NV W2-G FORMS HAS NO STATE CODE SO I CAN'T EFILE MY RETURN

Great Program

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I always liked the way data was transferred from prior years return to the current year return. However, I got a new computer this year and I was missing last years return information. It was still easy, even though I had lost the previous calculations for depreciation on my rental properties. It simply recalculated the past depreciation based on the values at the beginning of the rental use.
Great program, I will still use it for many more years.
What's great about it: Simple and saves lots of money versus a normal tax preparer.
What's not so great: The CSA Form 1099 is confusing and hard to complete when box 2 is marked as unknown

Best Product Ever

Moved to a different state, TT made the partial year calcs very easy. Only issue is the second state's product is expensive compared to the initial (Deluxe) package.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive
What's not so great: Haven't found any

State Return Needs Attention

I've never had any problems with my federal return. My problem is with the state return. For the last three years, my state return has resulted in a lower refund or me owing the state. All my attempts to contact Turbo Tax about this have been in vain. I've always downloaded the latest updates before filing. This is my last year to use Turbo Tax if this happens again.
What's great about it: Good supporting information
What's not so great: State return not Accurate for three years

Couldn't Do Taxes Without Turbo Tax!

Without Turbo Tax, I could not do my taxes. The final forms are 63 pages long, and without the expert tax law and tax form management of this program, I could not begin to deal with all of the necessary information.
My return is complex: rental property, several sources of income, and a sole proprietor business. Turbo Tax carries important information forward from year to year (depreciation schedules, for example) and updates information as necessary to meet the ever-changing government rules.

What's great about it: Deals with the incredible complexity of doing taxes - right!
What's not so great: Very hard to make entries to correct W-2 or other information.
