Easiest Turbotax Yet.

Overall, easier to use than last year. But how to print forms was not obvious. After a few tries, figure out that I had to use print command on pdf form rather than on TurboTax (contrary to previous years). Not a big issue.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step thru instructions easily, except printing (see below).q
What's not so great: Not obvious printing would not occur automatically, instead had to use print command on computer.

Convenience FEES!!

This year we had to pay into Federal, which has been a few years since we had to. Last 8-9years we have gotten at least, a small Refund. I was amazed and upset with the Convenience FEE that was charged to me if I wanted to use a credit card to pay on line "like paying my bills". If am charged a fee for paying my bills, it is a flat rate fee. I feel that being CHARGED A FEE based on a Percentage Owed if VERY UNFAIR! I feel this is one way a Company Cashes IN on Another Persons Misfortune of Owing a Debt. Even if this is through a 3rd party company that handles the payment, I would think that TurboTax would want to deal with a company who deals fairly to it's customers.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for years and always appreciate the Guide me steps.
What's not so great: Convenience FEES!!

TURBO TAX ALWAYS KEEPS UP WITH ALL TAX LAWS; AND KNOWS WHAT APPLIES TO ME AND WHAT DOESNT. TURBO, NEVER LETS YOU MISS SOMETHING, THEY ASK EVERYTHING RELEVANT TO GET THE MOST BACK FOR YOU.
What's great about it: TAKES YOU THROUGH EVERY STEP
What's not so great: WISH I COULD DETAIL MORE INFO

Same problem as last year. Efile was rejected because of problem with SSN on forms.

Anticipated frustration turned to calm and delight

Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a complete understanding of performing tax preparation without gathering tax forms and publications needed to file them. Having used Turbo tax for the past 10 years I can say that I have never been disappointed!
What's great about it: File check review provided assurance of completeness
What's not so great: Really no cons

Easy

This year I changed from the downgraded to the Deluxe from the Home & Business Version. I had closed my business during 2010 and decided to continue with the more comprehensive software just in the event of an unforeseen situation.
This year I decide to make the change and I was pleased the the Deluxe version worked perfectly with my comparative tax year data.

What's great about it: Provides the ability to easily compare previous return data with the current return.
What's not so great: I had difficulty in finding how to eliminate a form that wasn't required. An error message kept displaying deleted.
