What's great about it: ease. user friendly

This year our return had sales from some stock... one line was missing the information requested and I didn't know where to locate that info. Other than that, the software was great!
What's great about it: Detailed questions
What's not so great: Didn't have what to do if info was missing from a document

I've used TurboTax for many years and it is easy and accurate. It covers all my tax needs. I also like the security of audit defense. A small price to pay for knowing professionals will handle an audit, if the time comes.
What's great about it: Easy to use, covers my tax situation, and is accurate

Only one little thing

In completing each section the screen returned to the top of the page, requiring a manual scrolling down to proceed to the next section. Not a deal breaker, but annoying.
What's great about it: Was clear and concise
What's not so great: As data was entered returned to the top of page

2013 Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It has been easy to maneuver through. This year I changed items to see if they would be flagged and they were. I was impressed with the ability to complete both state forms. Last year, I did one state incorrectly which caused some problems with my home state taxes.

What's not so great: Cost of a supplement state almost as expensive as the original order

Complete and easy to follow

I am retired with a part time home business. TT led me through all the required forms efficiently. I did not need to access specif forms at all. Two quibbles: (1) When a given group of inputs will be provided for each joint filer, this could be made a bit clearer (although it was usually OK for most items.) (2) in the error correction after the review, a bit more explanation should have been provided as to what the error was and how to fix it. I've used TT for many years and have never regretted it.
What's great about it: Fairly comprehensive short help available on almost all screens.
What's not so great: Sometime freatures described as rarely selected could use a bit more explanation.
