Used several years.

I actually have used turbo tax for a number of years now. I like the fast calculations and editing information is fast. I also like the fact that it guides you through the steps, even the person who is using Turbo tax for the first time.
What's great about it: Pretty accurate calulations and fast turnaround for refunds.
What's not so great: Extra filing fees.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For a couple years, while printing the returns, the created data in the form changes and prints garbage. Dean became 'Ef bo! F'. Opening up the file again I could accurately print a couple pages at a time.
The software recommended taking the standard deduction. I did so and the federal form printed accurately. But the AZ state form had me itemizing and said to include the itemization. Had to go back and zero out various deductions.
Having to p with a unique nickname is a pain.

Turbotax is AWWWWESOME!!!!! REALLY EASY, no intimidation factor. GREAT PRODUCT!! My wife and I have used Turbotax for years and plan to continue.

Sooo easy

Just wish the downloading of info from my bank, and other company info could be completed. These places are not equipped to transfer like the big dogs.

The program is easy to use and walks me through everything. I also like the drop down boxes with explanations of things. This helps me know if I need to use that part or not.

Retiree's Fast Filing

The address portion is important for those of us who do not live in the US. I could not enter my US mailing address, used by the IRS, and my foreign physical address. There is no house-to-house mailing address in this country. In fact, there are no house addresses.
What's great about it: TTax walked through everything fast, as usual. With no income other than SS, it was quick.
What's not so great: I live in a foreighn country and there is no way to enter both my foreign address and my US mailing address.

Easiest way to file taxes

Quickest and easiest way to file taxes. After the first year all the personal data is entered for you. Takes no time at all to finish the process.
What's great about it: Enters data from previous years to help speed up the process.
What's not so great: Non

Saved Again by It's Deductable

Good "flow" and pace through the entire process. Can stop and start at most any place and go back and add or edit if you discover an unknown or forgotten item.
What's great about it: Entered donations throughout the year and easily inserted when preparing.
What's not so great: Residency issues are messy. Explanations need improvement if possible.
