Several years of positive experience with TurboTax

I've used TurboTax for several years and am pleased with the experience. The guidance is helpful. Even the Deluxe version is helpful with simple stock and small home business transactions.

I have used your product for years and I trust it. I especially like the transfer of information from one year to the new year. But this year, when all the work was done, I could not finish it without updating which required only Administrator status. I had done all my work as a user. I do not like problems after all that work with a deadline approaching. Get all updates done at the start, and don't require only Administrators to get updates. That can cause some scary moments.
What's great about it: I am familiar and trust your product.
What's not so great: I had trouble getting final required updates.

Turbo Tax is easy to use.

A little disappointed

Overall ok but issues finding the right worksheets particularly for the state side that led to the proper disposition or finality of taxes.. Finished but not happy with lack of deductions I guess taxes went up this year...Oh Well

Easier than I thought!

Will use again next year. Previously paid an accountant hundreds of dollars for a simple return. Transmitting errors were frustrating but found the answer in their help section. After restarting computer, files transmitted quickly!!
What's great about it: Easy, good explanations, completed quickly
What's not so great: Would not transmit first couple attempts.

I used to use a CPA to do taxes...not anymore. When I found that the CPA only uses turbo tax, I did too!
What's great about it: Took the guess work out of doing taxes
What's not so great: still takes time

Breathing Easier

TurboTax helps me sort through an otherwise daunting task in bite size chunks. I can stop and start according to the papers and information I have handy. It reminds me of what I need to send in a complete form.
What's great about it: I love how TurboTax walks me through the process, making sure I don't forget anything.
