Convinced me to get a 401K

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Never had any problems.
What's great about it: Easy to use and you can go back and forth whenever you need to. Even stop and continue later.
What's not so great: None

Easier than paper and cheaper than a paid preparer

I especially like the direct download from brokerage accounts. I have 3 IRAs and 2 regular accounts plus 2 SS accounts (me and my spouse, no fraud). Rather than entering a million numbers I just check the download versus my paper statements from the brokerages. My total tax preparation time for a fairly comlicated federal and state return is about 6 hours.
What's great about it: Simple english question rather than IRS-speak
What's not so great: Sometimes "none" checkbox, sometimes "no" continue button

Easy returns!

Easy to input data. Showed where everything was on my forms. Looked for things I may have missed doing it myself.
What's great about it: Copied common information from last years return.
What's not so great: Checked Turbotax for updates at the end instead of the beginning

Filing My Return

Chief benefit of the program is to perform the arithmetic and eliminates math mistakes. Nice part is that it transfers info from form to form and inputs from previous year. But it is difficult to tell what the program is doing as you proceed through the process. I had many problems with filing the federal and getting a copy of the State to mail. What about having a "users manual" that gives the user some info about how the program works.
What's great about it: Covers many cases. Impliments the tax law.
What's not so great: Difficult to use. "Simple" not always clear.

Needs some improvement

Have been using TurboTax for over ten yrs. Need improvement with printer interface too many problems trying to print to HP Printer (double sided). Had to print each page separately. Also had to shrink the page sizes! Could use more explanations along the way of Guide, couldn't understand why a lot of my deductions would not be included in final tally.
What's great about it: Like the guide as always
What's not so great: printing errors
