Fairly Easy To Use

In general, Turbo Tax was easy to use. However, not everything is as clear as it could be. Example: Finding how to accommodate Exempt Interest that was taxable in NYS was done by trial and error. Even though I completed the forms as they appeared, this specific type of tax was not properly handled. I ended up going directly to a worksheet to get the program to forward the appropriate numbers to the NYS Income Tax forms.
OIther than that, I believe Turbo Tax did a nice job.
What's great about it: Steps you through the entire process
What's not so great: Not bug free, problems found but not a show stopper

Like holding hands

The Turbo Tax people have really worked on making this as informative and as non threatening as possible. I will certainly use it next year!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax talked to me like someone standing next to me and holding my hand.
What's not so great: VERY MUCH improved from first year I used it.

2013 Review

thought 2013 was more difficult to use than 2012. although I used the walk me through all items feature, I never was taken to some of the spots I had been before and I did not know what specific forms to look for until I called support line. Support was very friendly and helpful
What's great about it: support staff very friendly and helpful
What's not so great: seemed more complicated than 2012 had trouble finding forms needed so had to call

Quick and Easy

I had a good experience with the software as usual. I use TurboTax every year. The definitions were easy to understand and it walked me through the process nicely. I will continue to use your product.
What's great about it: Straight forward, good explanations.
What's not so great: When I tried to input W-2 information manually, I could not type anything into the input fields. Fixed upon restart.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Return

I like that personal and information from previous year is pulled into Turbo Tax automatically. This makes it very easy to compare to previous year return in real time.
