Great Experience and Easy

This was the first year completing my taxes by myself without having to ask my brother for help, I felt confident and the process was easy. I would recommend turbo tax to anyone who would like to take control of their hard work through the year and make sure to correctly and effectively file their taxes. Thanks Turbo Tax!!!!

Made my tax filing almost pleasant!

Prompts through every step. Includes much more than I needed to file. Felt confident nothing was omitted. My one problem was resolved by live rep. Love the risk factor rating at the end. My accountant referred me back to Turbo Tax because it is so thorough and my tax filings have been so accurate through the years. I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, efficient, thorough
What's not so great: I saved to PDF before filing. Big Mistake. Lost all 147 pages.

Great tax software

I have used turbotax since the mid 1980's. It is great since it guides you through the process. I do multiple taxes for my kids and some older friends. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to store my personal data securely. I presently store the data on a removable memory stick so it does not reside on my computer, but I would like something like Quicken did where they require a password to access the data (I would still keep it on the memory stick).
What's great about it: Reasonably easy to use
What's not so great: Could use a way to secure the saved data.

the fact that Turbo Tax remembers the prior year makes my life so easy, especially doing the taxed for the whole family - 4 returns!
What's great about it: step by step process helps make sure you dont forget anything
What's not so great: nothing - gets easier every year
